On the Northwest corner sits a manufactured homes dealer and a casino. The Northeast corner is open field. The Southeast corner sports a mini mart and a few other small businesses. And to the Southwest you have our famous "sand pile", used by NDOT to sand the roads in winter. You'll also notice that there are no right turn lanes, a real hindrance to traffic flow.

Well this is going to change !

On the Southwest corner, instead of a famous "sand pile", we are going to have a wonderful visitor's center and rest stop. It will be a haven for all those "oh! I shouldn't have had that third cup of coffee" travelers, as well as a place for the visiting public to learn about all the wonders of the area.

Through a generous donation from Greater Nevada Credit Union , the contract to draw up the plans for the visitors center / reststop has been awarded to Hannafin Design Associates, LLP

The Reader Board has been repaired.  Local organizations can put their events on the read board, first come first serve.  Contact the Chamber office 775-577-4336
